The Cybersecurity Knowledge Transfer Network has teamed up with the Business Crime Reduction Centre (BCRC) to produce a booklet detailing the pitfalls of online identity fraud and the way in which small businesses can ensure they do not become victims.>

Contained within the guide is a range of identity fraud tactics employed by fraudsters and explains unfamiliar terms such as bots and zombies. Case studies are also used to highlight how easy it can be to become a victim of identity fraud and the importance of an effective data strategy.

The Cyber Security KTN is a government-backed organisation that brings together academics, industry experts and government to tackle the growing threat of identity fraud.
