Scottish Financial Crime Group Annual Conference
Conference Venue: Glasgow Science Centre and IMAX Cinema, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA. ‘A CULTURE OF RESPECT – DOES YOUR BUSINESS ADD UP?'
Previous Conferences have focused on ways that technological solutions, behavioural change and updated practices and procedures can help to mitigate risk. However
people are our greatest asset – they are sometimes our only competitive edge. It is people, not just machines, practices, processes or procedures that will make the difference and drive our business forward during the economic downturn. It is the investment in people that will propel us through to successful recovery.
The Conference is targeted toward Law Enforcement sectors, Fire and Rescue, Scottish Government, Local Authorities, and business representatives from the major financial institutions to the small to medium sized enterprises across Scotland.
To provide a platform where the above mentioned sectors are able to work together to examine the most relevant and current threats facing Scotland as well as perceived future threats and how to tackle these to minimise risk.
