BCRP Intranet reports strong take-up of new 'Lite' data-sharing product
BCRP Intranet, the data-sharing system for crime reduction partnerships, has reported nine new sales following the introduction of its new low-cost 'Lite' version in January. New customers are located throughout the UK.
According to Littoralis Ltd, developers of BCRP Intranet, the new 'Lite' version is priced at a level designed to appeal to even the smallest crime reduction partnership. The system allows partnerships to distribute and manage mugshots of offenders online, increases the level of incident reporting by members, and provides tools to help administrators manage their membership more cost-effectively. It also includes security-related monitoring tools and is compliant with all relevant national and EU data security and privacy legislation. New customers include StaiSafe (Staines), InSwindon, Taunton Retailers Against Crime, Southampton Business Against Crime, Eastbourne Business Crime Group, Lewisham Borough Business Against Crime, Bradford City Centre Beat, St Albans Business Against Crime (Sabac) and Croydon Borough Against Business Crime. "Obviously we're delighted" said Littoralis Director Dave Platten. "And we're especially pleased that partnerships are talking to each other and recommending BCRP Intranet." BCRP Intranet is now in use, within the same constabulary areas, by neighbouring local crime reduction partnerships. Platten says these partnerships are beginning to explore ways to share information directly between themselves, ensuring that they are 'joined up' at a local level. "BCRP Intranet has been designed not only to allow data-sharing within individual partnerships but between them also. Ultimately this can mean regional, and even national, data-sharing". Implementation of BCRP Intranet Lite is £650 with an on-going £50 monthly charge to cobver licence, support, system up-grades and hosting. Implementation, including training, is typically completed within for weeks of order, says Platten. The BCRP Intranet website is at www.bcrp-intranet.com.
