Partnerships Against Crime launches London and South East conference
After its hugely successful South West conference held in Bristol in July, Partnerships Against Crime (PAC) has now announced the next in its series of regional conference on the theme 'Exclusion Schemes - reducing high street crime and ASB'. It will be held on Thursday 25th October and will cover the London and South East area of England.
The series of regional conferences are being heavily subsidised by PAC and benefit from the sponsorship of CRP News. Tickets for the full-day conference, including light lunch and refreshments throughout, are available at an 'Early Bird' rate of just £45 until September 1.. From the 1st September tickets will revert to their full price of £55, which is still fantastic value for money. Sales are already brisk so be quick to reserve your place! Further Information Exclusion schemes – ranging from pub-watches to fully-fledged Business Crime Reduction Partnerships – are a tried and tested method of improving the safety and security of high streets and other commercial areas. In doing so they can create a commercial environment in which businesses can thrive and local communities can once more feel safe to enjoy their local retail and night-time economy. Each conference, chaired by the editor of CRP News, follows the same theme with a combination of local and national speakers. The emphasis is on practical experience-sharing and problem solving. The events aim to help delegates plan their new partnerships or make existing crime reduction partnerships more effective. Each conference also features a presentaton on different aspects of crime prevention in the future. For information on PAC's South West conference held in Bristol in July 2012, click here.
